An exciting opportunity has arisen for the recruitment of a Staff Nurse with - Duffy Suite Intermediate Care team.

As an important part of the team, you will be expected to work both independently and alongside your colleagues to provide the highest level of patient care.

We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic, motivated Staff Nurses with a passion for pro-active, Patient Centred Care. You must be dynamic, enthusiastic and well organised to blend well with an excellent team of Nursing, Therapy and Medical colleagues. The role is responsible for ensuring high quality; effective nursing and therapy interventions that is delivered to all patients admitted to our care.

Duffy Intermediate Care Unit is a 28 bedded facility based at St Helens hospital . We are temporarily increasing to 32 bedded capacity based on 1A at Whiston site to support Winter pressures This role and will expose you to new experience; working within a multidisciplinary environment providing acute medical care and rehabilitation. You will have responsibility as a Band 5 Staff nurse working on a rotational basis.                          

This is a permanent post within the Trust. If there are no vacancies within the department at the end of this period a suitable alternative will be found elsewhere within the Trust- We will work with you enhance your clinical skills and experience and support your future aspirations.

This post will be subject to an Enhanced DBS (with barred list for vulnerable adult’s disclosure).
