An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Acute Stroke unit at Whiston Hospital for dynamic senior Nurse to join the team of highly motivated and committed nursing staff on ward 5C . We are seeking an enthusiastic senior nurse, with a passion for excellence within the delivery of patient care, monitoring and maintaining high standards of clinical excellence. 

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate understanding of the management requirements in respect of sickness absence and other HR issues. A understanding of the budget restraints and alternate ways of working along with a Knowledge of relevant KPIs CQINN payments and or targets for 5C would be advantageous. Development of self and staff is a key indicator and evidence of self-development and a desire to empower others to develop will be an expectation of the role. 

5C ward comprises a 32 bedded Acute Stroke Ward 

A flexible approach to the working environment is an essential requisition for this post. 

These posts will be subject to an Enhanced DBS (with barred list for vulnerable adult’s disclosure).
