We provide a full range of acute adult services to our local population of circa 350,000 and provide tertiary services across a much wider area in the North West, North Wales and Isle of Man. We are a Major Trauma Unit and the Mersey Regional Burns Unit.

Due to investment in our medical Therapy Service, we are excited to offer newly developed rotational band 6 posts. We are looking for enthusiastic, hardworking, motivated, experienced Physiotherapists with excellent clinical, communication, organisational and time management skills to join our Service working across the following areas:
Integrated Stroke Services A&E
Acute Medicine Frailty
The successful candidate will have postgraduate experience preferable working within the acute sector and be ready to take on the responsibility of a band 6 position. They will deliver high standard evidence based care, perform therapy assessments of patients, providing a diagnosis to develop and deliver an individualised treatment programme and hold responsibility for their own caseload and supervision of band 5 therapists and therapy assistants. Therapy provision in each of these clinical areas is managed by a dedicated Therapy team with clinical and operational leadership provided by band 7 therapists.
A flexible approach to day to day tasks is essential in order to meet the demands of the service. Therapy is provided 7 days per week with extended hours on a rota basis. The successful candidates will also have the opportunity to participate in providing outreach services.

Current HCPC registration is essential. Interviews, medicals and DBS checks will be made prior to acceptance.
